We're very excited to be bringing you the Afterburner
in The Hive, a ReSpace projects venue in Dalston.
We'll be at 260-264 Kingsland Road E8 4DG (near the
canal), Hackney.
Getting Here
The Hive is about a half hour public transport journey from Decom venue, The Coronet.
Busses run all night and the tube will run from 5.40- 149, 243 and 242 will get you where you need to be, as will the overground.
The quickest route is Northern Line from Elephant and Castle, transferring to the 242.
There are also lots of taxis and UBERS close to the venue.
About The HIVE
The Hive is an independent social space
facilitated by not-for-profit company,
ReSpace Projects, that enables the temporary use of empty buildings for social good.
They've created a cultural and environmentally focussed social space to allow for collaboration, community projects, music, theatre, workshops and events like ours.
The building itself is an ex-office block that lay empty and delapidated for 8 years. By creating an infrastructure-based model that is flexible, easy to implement and delivers genuine benefits to landlords, communities and councils, ReSpace Projects propose a blueprint that can inform future planning for a more effective and inclusive approach to resource management.
Accessibility
The building is not wheelchair accessible, as a respace venue it is not possible to make ammendments to the building at this stage in its use. if there is anything we can do to support you during this event please please contact us and we will do the best we can to make things possible.
